The study began with an attempt to find ways to solve the problem of career exploration and employment, which has emerged as the biggest problem for sports majors in university education. As a solution to this, it is a desperate need for a comprehensive education in the field of related studies to select the right career path for sports majors and expand employment opportunities of quality. In reality, due to the educational characteristics of sports majors, convergence education through interdisciplinary disciplines is not easy. Many attempts have been made in college, but not many have been succeeded. In response, sports majors tried to study the case of raising educational satisfaction by combining career selection in the related fields with tourism, which is the easiest to access and job opportunities. Mixed-use curricula can be distinguished as follows: First, sports majors are encouraged to educate their field of theory on tourism during the semester and obtain relevant certificates at the same time as graduation. Second, various job training is provided in tourism-related businesses and the related facilities such as hotels, resorts and water parks integrated into the curriculum provide internships during vacation, and ultimately post-college employment opportunities. Based on the overall education satisfaction, internship job training, and employment cases, the results were significant.

본 연구는 대학교육에서 스포츠 전공자의 학업 후 가장 큰 문제점으로 부각되고 있는 진로탐색과 취업이라는 문 제점을 해결하기 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하는 시도에서 출발하였다. 이를 위한 해결책으로 스포츠전공자의 올바른 진 로선택과 양질의 취업 기회를 확대하기 위한 연관 학문 분야의 융복합 교육이 절실히 필요한 상황이라는 점에 주목하였 다. 그러나 현실적으로 스포츠 전공자들의 교육적 특성상, 학업 수학 능력상 관련 학문 분야의 접목을 통한 융복합 교육 이 결코 용이한 것은 아니다. 그간 대학가에서는 다양한 시도가 이루어져 왔으나, 기대한 결과를 얻은 사례는 많지 않다. 이에 스포츠 전공자들이 가장 쉽게 접근 가능하면서 연관 직업 분야 진로 선택과 취업이 가능한 관광학을 접목하여 교육 만족도를 제고한 사례에 대한 연구를 시도하고자 했다. 융복합 교육과정은 다음과 같이 구분할 수 있다. 첫째, 스포츠 전공자들에게 관광학 관련 이론 교과목을 학기 중에 교육하고, 졸업과 동시에 관련 자격증을 취득하도록 유도한다. 둘 째, 관광관련 사업체에서 다양한 직무교육을 실시하고 교육과정에 접목된 호텔과 리조트, 워터파크 등 관련시설에서 방 학 기간 중 인턴십을 경험하게 하고, 궁극적으로는 졸업 후 취업기회를 제공한다. 교육 전반에 걸친 만족도와 인턴십 직 무교육, 취업의 사례를 바탕으로 교육만족도를 조사 분석하여, 유의미한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.
