The purpose of this study is to find out about the school field practice of reserve sports teachers through empirical talk about the various values gained through the school field practice and to find out the future direction of the school field practice. To this end, 20 fifth-grade physical education teachers at C University were surveyed through open questionnaire and in-depth interview. The collected data were analyzed using case records analysis and inductive categorization analysis methods in accordance with the case study data analysis process for the purposes of the study. According to the analysis, the preliminary physical education teachers were "fear to happiness," "changes of status," and "the actual field of theory" and "role of university for pre-service physical education teacher" after four weeks of school practice. For reserve sports teachers, school field practice is the last chance to experience the school field as a student. This field practice should not only be an opportunity for reserve sports teachers to experience the school field, but also for establishing philosophy as a teacher, and also a practical help in advancing to the school field later as a practical teacher.

본 연구의 목적은 예비체육교사들의 학교현장실습에 대한 생각을 경험적 이야기를 통해 학교현장실습과정에서 얻은 다양한 가치를 알아보고, 향후 학교현장실습의 방향에 대하여 알아보고자 하는데 있다. 이를 위해 C대학교 4학년 예비체육교사 20명을 대상으로 개방형설문지 및 심층면담을 통해 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 연구의 목적에 따라 사례 연구 자료 분석 과정에 따라 사례기록 분석과 귀납적 범주 분석방법을 활용하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 분석한 결과 4주간의 학교현장실습 후 학교, 교사, 현장실습에 대하여 예비체육교사들은 ‘두려움에서 행복으로’, ‘신분의 전환’, ‘이 론의 실제현장 활용’, ‘예비체육교사를 위한 대학의 역할’의 4가지 주제로 분류할 수 있었다. 예비체육교사들에게 학교 현장실습은 학생의 신분으로 학교현장을 경험해 볼 수 있는 마지막 기회이다. 이러한 현장실습이 예비체육교사들에게 학교현장을 단순히 경험해보는 기회에 그칠 것이 아니라 교사로서의 철학 확립과 더불어 차후 실제 교사로서 학교현장 에 진출할 때 실질적 도움이 될 수 있는 현장실습으로 거듭나야 할 것으로 보인다.
