The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of Physical Self-concepts of elementary school students in volleyball class on school life adaptation and school happiness. The collected data are as follows: The gender differences showed significant differences in school life adaptation and school performance, excluding physical self-concepts. Second, physical self-concepts are teachers of school life adaptation (health, self-esteem, flexibility), learning activity adaptation (global power, appearance) and regular compliance (health, health). Third, physical self-concepts are teacher relationships (health, sports skills, self-esteem), learning activities (e.g. endurance, physical strength, physical fitness, fatality, etc.) The results suggest that the physical self-concepts of elementary school students' sports participation may play an important role in explaining school life adaptation and school well-being.

배구수업에서 초등학생들의 신체적 자기개념이 학교생활적응과 학교행복감에 미치는 영향 을 규명하기 위하여 KB배구 스포츠 클럽에 참가한 초등학생참가자 87명을 대상으로 유목적 표집법(purposive sampling)을 사용하여 총 80명을 추출하였다. 수집된 자료는 PASW21.0을 사용하여 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 성별에 따른 차이에서는 신체 적자기개념을 제외한 학교생활적응과 학교행복감에서는 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 신체적 자기개념은 학교생활 적응의 담임교사(건강, 자기존중감, 유연성), 학교생활적응(자기존중감), 학습활동적응(지구력, 외모), 규칙준수(건 강, 스포츠유능감)에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 신체적 자기개념은 학교행복감의 교사관계(건강, 스포츠유능감, 자기존중감), 학습활동(지구력, 신체전반, 근력), 친구관계(스포츠유능감, 체지방, 유연성), 심리적안정 (스포츠유능감, 신체전반, 외모, 유연성), 환경만족(스포츠유능감, 자기존중감, 신체전반, 신체활동, 외모, 근력, 유연 성), 자기효능감(스포츠유능감, 체지방, 자기존중감, 지구력, 신체전반, 외모, 근력, 유연성)에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것 으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 초등학생들의 스포츠 참여활동에 따른 신체적자기개념이 학교생활적응과 학교행복감을 설명하는데 중요한 요인으로 작용될 수 있다는 것을 시사해주는 결과라 할 수 있다.
