The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of residents awareness and satisfaction in the areas of women-friendly urban development by the local government. The results of this study are as follows. First, in case of promoting women-friendly city policy with a limited budget in local small and medium cities, it gave priority to policies with high policy performance. Next, we presented effective communication tools to raise the awareness of local residents about policies related to women friendly cities. Next, in the case of declining cities, it was confirmed that the creation of a women friendly city could be a policy tool to prevent decline and revitalize city vitality. Finally, we confirmed the importance of finding women-friendly city policies through participation of residents.

이 연구의 목적은 여성친화도시 조성 분야 중 지자체 추진 사업 내용별 거주민의 인 지도와 만족도 영향력을 확인 하는 것이다. 이를 통해 기존에 수립되고 시행된 정책평가 를 통한 효율적인 지자체 추진과제를 도출하는 것이다. 이 연구의 성과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 지방중소도시에서 한정된 예산으로 여성친화도시 정책을 추진하는 경우 정책성과 가 높은 정책에 대한 우선순위를 제시하였다. 다음으로 여성친화도시 관련 정책에 대한 지역주민의 인지도 향상을 위한 효과적인 커뮤니케이션 수단을 제시하였다. 다음으로 쇠퇴 도시의 경우 여성친화도시 조성은 쇠퇴를 예방하고 도시의 활력을 재생하는 정책 수단이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 끝으로 주민참여를 통한 여성친화도시 정책 발굴의 중 요성을 확인하였다.
