[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to explore the perception of the professional knowledge of golf instructor. This study will provide it as basic data necessary for the improvement of professionalism of golf instructor and training course. [Method] This study used qualitative research method. Participants selected 5 professors to teach golf players. Data were collected through in-depth interviews from September to December 2017. Data analysis used inductive category analysis and subject analysis method to analyze the raw data [Result] The golf instructor's professional knowledge was divided into several professional knowledge. First, golf content knowledge included theoretical and practical knowledge, second, golf teaching knowledge has golf training method and golfer management knowledge, third, golf purpose knowledge has teaching goal, and career enhancement knowledge, fourth, golf environment knowledge has golfer’s situation and their environmental knowledge, last, golf pedagogical content knowledge has time and place knowledge. [Conclusion] This study searched the professional knowledge of golf instructor. It came to systematically classified professional knowledge. It is necessary to establish the professional knowledge system necessary for the improvement of the professionalism of the golf instructor.

[목적] 본 연구는 골프지도자를 대상으로 전문지식에 대한 인식을 탐색해 보고자 한다. 이를 통해 골프지도에 필 요한 전문지식을 체계적으로 정립해보고, 골프지도자의 전문성 향상에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. [방 법] 연구참여자는 유목적 표집방법을 이용하여 선정되었으며, 심층면담을 통해 2017년 9월부터 2018년 3월까지 총 7개월에 걸쳐 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석은 주제별 분석방법과 귀납적 분석방법을 사용하였다. [결과] 골프 지도자의 인식을 통해 알아본 전문지식으로는 첫째, 골프 내용지식으로 골프이론지식과 실기지식이 필요하고, 둘 째, 골프 지도방법지식에는 훈련지식과 선수관리지식이 필요하였다. 셋째, 골프지도 목적지식은 골프지도자의 코 칭철학, 지도목표, 그리고 자기관리지식이 포함되어야 했으며, 넷째, 골프지도 환경지식에서는 선수의 주변환경과 상황을 파악하는 지식과 골프 직무지식으로 구성되었다. 마지막으로 골프 내용교수지식에서는 시기별, 장소별 지 식이 필요하였다. [결론] 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 통해 골프지도자의 전문성 향상과 지도자 양성과정에 필요한 전문지식체계를 확립하는데 안내자의 역할을 담당하길 기대한다.
