In this study, a hierarchical analysis was carried out to see the influence of family strengths and resilience on adaption to military life, particularly targeting 175 junior non-commissioned officers. As a result of the analysis, it was found that junior non-commissioned officers' adaptation to their military life was higher than normal level. Family strength was found to be at a high level, and resilience was found to be somewhat higher than normal level. According to the result, adaptation to military life had a positive relationship with family strength sub-factors-bond with family members, communication with family members, sharing of family members' value system, and problem solving capability. It also had a positive relationship with resilience sub-factors-self-regulation capability, interpersonal competency, and positivity. The result of the analysis on the influence on adaptation to military life showed that both family strength and resilience have a positive relationship with adaptation to military life. And based on the results, this study proposes alternatives to enhance junior non-commissioned officers' family strengths and resilience, both on practical and political levels.

본 연구는 175명의 초급부사관을 대상으로 가족건강성과 회복탄력성이 군 생활 적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 초급부사관의 군 생활 적응은 보통 수준보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 가족건강성은 높은 수준으로 나타났으며, 회복탄력성은 보통 수준보다 다소 높은 것으로 나타났다. 군 생활 적응은 가족건강성 하위요인인 가족원간의 유대, 가족원간의 의사소통, 가족원의 가치체계 공 유, 가족의 문제해결 수행능력과 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 회복탄력성 하위요인인 자 기조절능력, 대인관계능력, 긍정성과도 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 군 생활 적응의 영향력을 분석한 결과 가족건강성과 회복탄력성 모두 군 생활 적응에 정적 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 초급부사관의 가족건강성과 회복탄력성을 강화하기 위한 실천적 차원의 대안과 정책적 대안을 제시하였다.
