Through the process of examining how the elements of grammar education contents are structured and connected to each other by using existing studies, we examined the change in the grammar textbooks and the compositional system according to the changing curriculum in Korean language education. On plan was to evaluate the status of grammar education. We examined how the curriculum is reflected in the textbooks since the 7th curriculum in 1997, and examined how they are reflected in the textbooks. Through the grammar textbook we examined the process of organization of education contents and the way textbooks change according to curriculum. We explored the problems in grammar education. The grammar content system of the textbook should contain basic knowledge. In the background of this knowledge, the rules, principles, functions and attitudes of Korean language harmonize with each other, so that the learner – centered education of Korean language activities is settled. I believe that grammar education should contribute to life.

기존의 연구를 통해 문법 교육 내용 요소들이 어떻게 체계화 되고, 연결 되어 위계를 갖추고 있는가를 살피는 과정을 통해 국어 교육에서 변화하는 교육과정에 따라 문법 교과서의 내용 변화와 구성 체계를 살펴 문법 교육 의 위상을 정립해 보고자 한다. 교육과정이 어떻게 교과서에 반영되어 있는 가를 1997년 7차 교육과정 이후부터 살펴보고 교과서에서는 어떻게 반영되 어 변화되고 있는가를 살펴보았다. 검인정 교과서-㈜ 미래엔-를 통해 교육 내용 조직과 교과서의 구성 방식이 교육과정에 따라 변화하는 과정을 살펴 보고 문법 교육에서 문제점을 탐색하였다. 학습자 중심의 교과서 구성 방식 을 어떤 방식이 좋은 것인가 개괄적으로 살펴 ‘문법’교과서의 내용 체계는 기본 지식을 담고 있어야 한다. 이런 지식의 바탕 속에서 국어의 규칙, 원 리, 기능과 태도가 조화를 이루어 학습자 중심의 국어 활동 교육이 자리 잡 아 생활 속에서 문법 교육이 기여해야 할 몫이라고 생각한다.
