Mediating effect of self-concept clarity and self-efficacy in the relationship between separation individualization level and career decision level of college students

The study aims to identify the mediating effect of self-concept clarity and self-efficacy in the relationship between separation individualization level and career decision level of college students. For this purpose, 356 data samples were collected from the college students currently enrolled in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Jeolla and Kyungsang area, and measured by Separation-Individuation Scale(SIS), Career Decision Scale(CDS), Self-Concept Clarity Scale(SCC) and Self Efficacy Scale(SES). SPSS, Amos and M-plus were used for data analysis, including descriptive statistics, correlations, evaluation of structural equation model and mediating effects. Results showed that as follows: First, self-concept clarity and self-efficacy had significant mediating effects between separation individualization and career decision level. Second, self-concept clarity and self-efficacy had significant double mediating effects in the relationship between separation individualization and career decision level.
