The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the human rights consciousness of caregivers on the quality of care of the elderly with dementia during their working days, The purpose of this study is to examine whether human rights education plays a moderating effect. In this study, 282 caregivers in the elder care facilities in Seoul and Kyonggi province were analyzed. First, the human rights consciousness of caregivers showed statistically significant effect on the quality of service and it was proved that it affected. Second, it is proved that the human rights education of the nursing care provider has a statistically significant effect on the adjustment of the human rights consciousness of the nurse's caregiver and the service quality of the demented elderly. Based on the results of this study, we suggested the institutional approach and the necessity of human rights education for the elderly with dementia.

본 연구는 서울·경기 지역 요양시설에서 종사하고 있는 요양보호사들이 근무기간에 치매노인을 대상 으로 요양보호사의 인권의식이 서비스 질에 미치는 영향을 파악하였으며, 요양보호사의 인권의식과 치매 노인 서비스 질과의 관계에서 인권교육이 조절역할을 하는지를 살펴보는 목적으로 분석하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구에서는 서울·경기 지역 노인요양시설에 종사하고 있는 요양보호사 총 282명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 요양보호사의 인권의식이 서비스 질에 통계적으로 유의미 하게 나타났으며 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 둘째, 요양보호사의 인권교육이 요양보호사의 인권의 식과 치매노인 서비스 질에 조절역할로서 이들 간에 조절효과가 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났으며 영향 을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 하여 치매노인을 대상으로 요양보호 사의 서비스 질을 높이기 위한 제도적 접근 및 인권교육의 필요성 방안과 후속연구를 위한 제 언을 하였다.
