The purpose of this study is to analyze the applicability of UAV to cadastral surveying by analyzing the legal regulations related to cadastral surveying and the technical features of UAV. Technical, legal, and institutional improvements for the introduction of UAV based on the analyzed contents is suggested in this study. The results of study are as follows. In the technical part, the possibility of applying UAV to cadastral detail surveying has been suggested considering the accuracy, spatial range, and economical efficiency. In addition, detailed procedures and methods for applying UAV to cadastral survey and cadastral resurvey surveying are presented. In terms of legal and institutional aspects, it is suggested that the current law should include the grounds for the UAV survey to ensure a clear legal basis, and detailed procedures and methods are to be enacted separately

본 연구에서는 지적측량 관련 법률 규정과 UAV의 기술적 특성 등을 분석해 UAV의 지적측량에 적용 가능성 을 분석해 보고자 하였다. 그리고 분석된 내용을 기초로 UAV의 도입을 위한 기술적, 법․제도적 개선 방안을 제시하 고자 하였다. 연구성과는 다음과 같다. 기술적 부분에서는 정확도, 공간적 범위, 경제성 등을 고려해 지적세부측량에 UAV 적용의 가능성을 제시하였다. 또한 지적측량과 지적재조사측량에 UAV를 적용하기 위한 세부적인 절차와 방법에 대해 제시하였다. 법․제도적 측면에서는 명확한 법률적 근거 확보를 위해 현행 법률에 UAV 측량을 위한 근거를 수록 하고, 세부 절차와 방법에 대해서는 별도의 규정으로 제정할 것을 제안하였다.
