The strengthen policy of prisoner’s family relationship has played on important role on their rehabilitation in correction. Therefore, correction family program has been in effect for a long time for their rehabilitation in their prison and their recovering family relationship in terms of correction. But, existing family programs has fundamental limitations on account of inner model which has been affected by correction bureaucracy regime in korea prison policy. whereas, duranno prison father school for recovering family relationship and hyo of prisoners as special christian service since 2003 has been well received by prisoner in prison and their family in correction family policy on account of externally driven third sector model merits unlike existing bureaucratic correction family programs. Therefore, diverse existing studies on prison father school were published in terms of their rehabilitation and their family relationship recovering. But they overlooked diverse problems inclusive of prison father school ideology, human rights and so on. Few studies over the past years have been made on its ideology, human rights, social welfare, correction welfare. Therefore, I showed desirable devices of prison father school in terms of ideology, program, demand, supply, human rights throughout my original interdisciplinary method.

수용자에 대한 가족관계의 강화정책은 수용자의 교화에서 중요한 역할을 해왔다. 이에 따라 수용자의 교화와 그들의 가족관계를 교정의 차원에서 해결하기 위해 수용자와 그들의 가족에 대한 교정가족프로그램이 제도적으로 시행되어 왔다. 그러나 기존의 교정가족프로그램은 관료레짐에 의해 시행되는 내부형 모형이란 점에서 근본적 한계가 있었다. 이에 반해 효의 회복과 가족회복을 위한 사역을 해 온 두란노 교도소 아버지학교는 2003년부터 특수사역의 일종으로 기존의 관료적 교정관계프로그램과 달리 외부주도적인 제3섹터모형의 장점으로 인하여 수용자와 그의 가족들에게 좋은 반응을 받고 있다. 이에 따라 교화와 가족관계의 회복측면에서 교도소아버지학교에 대한 다양한 선행연구들이 나왔다. 그러나 이들 선행연구들은 교도소아버지학교이념과 인권 등 프로그램에 내제된 여러 문제점을 간과하고 있다. 이념, 인권, 복지측면에서 접근한 논문은 거의 없었다. 따라서 선행연구들이 간과한 교도소아버지학교의 이념적 측면, 프로그램, 수요와 공급측면, 인권측면에서 문제점과 그 개선방안을 학제적 접근으로 제시하였다. 이념적 측면에서는 민주성,형평성,교정복지주의 이념을 제시하였고 프로그램측면에서는 지나친 정서적 프로그램에서 탈피하여 균형적 프로그램의 필요성을 제시하였으며 수요와 공급측면에서는 주변부 수용자의 포함과 수요자 선정의 합리성과 대표성, 교목 등이 포함된 교종(矯宗)제도의 설치와 열린 스텝을 제시하였으며 인권측면에서는 젠더평등이데올르기와 프라이버시권 등을 제시하였다.
