The value clarification model helped students to 'self-directing behavior' as a process of 'choosing', 'prizing', and 'acting'. However, the existing model focused on the 'choosing' process and did not properly reflect the moral experience that occurred during the 'acting' process. According to moral psychology research results and empirical cases, students' behavior is influenced by specific social conditions and reactions of people around them. Students also experience new knowledge and emotions in the process of practicing moral behavior and form new values. In this study, I reconstructed the value clarification model by reinterpreting the nature of the behavior and designed the 'Three days of challenge' which can be applied to the moral class based on this reconstruction. This activity will help to operate autonomous units introduced during the 2015 revision curriculum and practice-oriented curriculum and procedures.

가치명료화 모형은 학생들이 ‘선택’하고 ‘존중’하고 ‘행동’하는 과정을 통해 ‘자기 결정에 따른 행동’을 하는 데 도움을 주었다. 하지만 기존 모형은 ‘선택’ 과정에 집중한 나머지 ‘행동’ 과정에서 발생하는 도덕적 경험을 제대로 반영하지 못했다. 도덕심리학 연구결과와 경험적인 사례에 따르면 학생들의 행동은 특정한 사회적 조건과주변 사람들의 반응에 영향을 받는다. 학생들은 도덕적 행동을 실행하는 과정에서 교사가 의도하지 않은 지식과 정서를 경험하거나 새로운 가치를 형성하기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 가치명료화 모형에서행동의 성격을 재해석하여 모형의 과정과 절차를 재구성하고 이를바탕으로 도덕수업에 적용할 수 있는 활동 ‘3일의 도전’을 설계하였다. 이 활동은 2015개정 교육과정에서 도입한 자율형 단원과 실천체험 중심 수업과정·절차를 운영하는데 기여할 것이다.
