This study examined a multi-language display on a linguistic landscape seen from the park, one of tourist sites in Busan, and described problems and improvements of the multi-language display by noticing expressions that especially call up prohibition and caution. The details revealed through this study are shown hereunder. (1) At UN Memorial Cemetery, a multi-language display by two languages (Korean･English) and pictogram are used together. (2) At Dongbaek Island (park), a multi-language display by four languages (Korean･English･Japanese･Chinese), two language display (Korean･English), and single-language display (Korean) are mixed and lack unity. (3) At Peace Park, a multi-language display of lack of unity just like Dongbaek Island is observed. There is a sign indicating a ‘safety bell’ for women and children is installed, but a picture which is not regarded as a pictogram is painted. (4) At Yongdusan Park, there are many prohibition signs (notice, plate, banner) that urge smokers to quit smoking, and a single-language display (Korean) for fines is used. (5) A multi-language display for the park requires unity and the use of pictograms should be expanded. (6) It is necessary to mark with a multi-language display about the fact that people are fined for smoking.

本論文は、韓国釜山広域市の観光地(主に公園)に見られる言語景観について、多言語表記を中心に検討し、その特徴を述べるものである。特に、禁止表現に注目し、その傾向を述べ、問題点とこれからの改善点を述べるものである。本研究の結果、以下のことが明らかになった。 (1) UN記念公園は｢韓国語･英語｣の2言語表記による多言語表記とピクトグラムが一緒に表示されている。 (2) 冬栢島(公園)は｢韓国語･英語･日本語･中国語｣の4言語による多言語表記、｢韓国語･英語｣の2言語表記、｢韓国語｣の単一語表記が混在し、統一性がない。 (3) 平和公園は冬栢島と同様に、統一性のない多言語表記が見られており、女性･児童のための｢安心非常ベル｣の設置を知らせるプレートがあるものの、ピクトグラムとして認められない絵が描かれている。 (4) 龍頭山公園は禁煙を促す禁止喚起表示(案内板、プレート、垂れ幕)が多く、罰金があることについては単一語表記となっている。 (5) 公園において多言語表記に統一性が必要であり、ピクトグラムの使用を増やすべきである。 (6) 禁止･注意喚起の表示において、喫煙すると、罰金が下されるということを多言語表記で示す必要がある。
