This study proposed critical discussion and challenges relating to integration of Taekkyonrelated organizations and sought to find the relevant solution based on several points. As a solution, first, A critical review of the issue of Taekkyon can be a uniform structure that we are now facing. Various issues have been raised regarding Taekkyon as a traditional cultural heritage and competitive sport. In addition, Cultural Heritage Administration failed to provide in-depth historical records in response to criticism of historical distortion and, therefore, historical genealogy of it is needed. Second, regarding self-critical discussion relating to the process of integrating different organizations, so far, there has been no autonomous policy executed by Taekkyon professionals and organizations have not been integrated as an institution, which resulted in many difficulties with development and government support. Third, regarding challenges of integration and strategic investigation, it is also a matter of Taekkyon’s identity that will enable the sport to enter the mainstream in the future. However, there has been no strategic effort or public hearing for integration of different organizations, which need to be reflected on within the Taekkyon community. Therefore, based on critical discussion of integration of Taekkyon organizations and related challenges, organizations related to Taekkyon will need to be integrated into one in order to develop the sport as a traditional martial art and intangible cultural heritage.

이 연구에서는 택견 단체 통합에 대한 비판적 성찰과 과제에 대해 몇 가지 사안을 제시하여 그 해결방안을 찾고자 하였다. 그 해결 방안으로는, 첫째로 택견 현안의 비판적 검토는 지금 직면하고 있는 택견에 획일적 구도가 될 수 있다. 전통문화재로서와 경기택견으로서 다양한 문제점이 대두되고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 역사성 문제에서도 문화재청에서 조차 역사 왜곡에 대하여 심도 있는 역사적 자료를 제시 못하고 있으며, 이에 따른 역사계보학적 측면이 반드시 필요한 사안 이다. 둘째, 단체 통합과정의 자아 비판적 성찰은 아직까지 택견인에 의해 자아적 정책을 할 수 없었고, 또한 기구 단체로 통합되지 못하여 정부지원 육성에 많은 어려움이 직면했던 것이 사실이다. 셋째, 통합의 과제 및 전략적 모색은 앞으로 택견이 제도권으로 입성할 수 있는 정체성의 문제이기도 하다. 하지만 단 한 번도 단체 통합에 대한 전략적 모색이 없었 고 이에 관한 공청회도 이루어지지 않았던 것도 택견인 스스로 반성해야 한다. 따라서 택견 단체 통합에 대한 비판적 성 찰과 과제를 다시 한 번 묻고 답을 해 보았을 때 전통무예 택견의 백년지대계로서 뿐만 아니라 무형문화재로서 가치가 있기에 하루 빨리 하나로 소통할 수 있는 단체통합이 있어야 할 것이다.
