The purpose of this study was to develop safety climate scale for marine sports on sense of safety. For the purpose, 171 members who participate in marine sports such as scuba diving, water motorcycle, power boat, kayak, kite boat and etc were selected in the preliminary research, 279 members in the main research and 100 members in the propriety research by using convenience sampling method. For the first, 72 questions(8 factors) on safety climate scale for marine sport were developed in item pool through advanced research. For developing the scale, reliability, technology statistics , exploratory analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis were carried out by using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 22.0. Content validity and construct validity were ensured. The result of confirmatory factor analysis was as follows. The factor structure of final scale was composed of 4 factors, 16 questions like communication(4 questions), practice consciousness(3 questions), safety environment(4 questions), safety attitude(5 questions). To verify the validity of the safety climate scale for marine sports, correlation analysis between safety consciousness questionnaire(G. S., Kim & C. S., Kim, 2017) used in leisure sports and this study was carried out and conceptual identity between two questionnaires was confirmed. Thus, the final 4 factors, 16 questions for safety climate scale were developed.

이 연구는 해양스포츠 안전의식에 대한 해양스포츠전문 안전 분위기 척도를 개발하는데 있다. 이를 위해서 해양 스포츠 종목(스쿠버다이빙, 수상오토바이, 동력보트, 카약, 카이트보드 등)에 참여하는 대상자들을 편의표본추출에 의 해 예비조사 171명, 본 조사 279명, 타당화조사 100명을 각각 선정하여 분석하였다. 선행연구를 통해 개발된 해양스포 츠전문 안전 분위기는 최초 72문항(8요인)의 아이템풀로 개발되었다. 이후 척도 개발을 위해 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 22.0 통계 패키지를 활용하여 신뢰도, 기술 통계치, 탐색적‧확인적 요인분석, 상관관계 분석으로 내용타당도와 구성타 당도를 확보하였다. 확인적 요인분석 결과 최종 척도의 요인구조는 4요인, 16문항으로 의사소통(4문항), 실천의식(3 문항), 안전환경(4문항), 안전태도(5문항)의 요인구조로 이루어졌음을 확인하였다. 이후 해양스포츠전문 안전 분위기 척도의 타당성 검증을 위해 레저스포츠에서 사용된 안전의식 설문지(김경식, 김찬선, 2017)와의 상관관계분석으로 두 설문지 간의 개념적 동일성을 확인하였다. 따라서 최종 4요인, 16문항의 해양스포츠전문 안전 분위기 척도를 개발하였다.
