Purpose: The purpose of this study was to observe and analyze the task presentation styles of middle school physical education teachers through analyzing the task presentation behaviors patterns and to provide the basic data for improving teaching efficiency to middle school physical education teachers. The participants were 4 physical education teachers (2 male and 2 female teachers) in 4 middle schools in Gyeonggi-do. In the data collection, a total of eight classroom videos were collected for each teacher. Data analysis was done through case recording and in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis and in-depth interview. The results of this study were as follows: First, teachers gave various types of oral explanations to students. Second, while teachers presented similar behavioral demonstrations and partial action demonstrations to students, they did not use student demonstrations well. Third, teachers did not apply well to field class because of lack of understanding of learning cues. Fourth, teachers positively provided positive feedback and general feedback, but did not provide much specific feedback. In conclusion, the physical education teachers should use the appropriate task suggesting actions efficiently and use effective learning cues positively.

이 연구의 목적은 교사의 과제제시 행동 패턴을 효과적으로 수집하고, 분석할 수 있는 사건기록법(event recording)과 심층면담을 통해 중학교 체육교사의 과제제시 유형을 관찰, 분석하고, 중학교 체육교사들에게 교수효율 성 향상을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구대상은 경기도에 소재한 4개 중학교에서 체육수업을 담당하고 있는 4명 (남교사 2명, 여교사 2명)체육교사의 8차시의 수업장면을 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 교사들은 다양한 구두설 명 유형을 학생들에게 적극적으로 제시하였다. 둘째, 교사들은 전체동작 시범과 부분 동작시범을 학생들에게 비슷하게 제시하고 학생시범을 잘 이용하지 않았다. 셋째, 교사들은 학습단서에 대한 이해가 부족하여 현장 수업에 잘 적용하지 못했다. 넷째, 교사들은 긍정적 피드백과 일반적 피드백을 적극적으로 제공하는데 구체적 피드백 많이 제공하지 않았다. 결론적으로 체육교사들은 적절한 과제제시 행동을 사용하고 효과적인 학습단서를 적극적인 활용하다면 효율적인 교수 행동이 가능 할 것으로 기대된다.
