As a study on the effects of career capability on the career adaptability of women with career interruption, it aims to seek for effective measures of career adaptability for successful re-employment of women with career interruption. For this, the career capability scale, career adaptability were used. From February 5th to March 5th 2018, a survey was conducted targeting 400 career-interrupted women with work experience for more than six months out of married women in their 30-50s, receiving the 1-9months beauty education from vocational training institute, beauty academy, and women’s center in Seoul and Gyeonggi region. Total 361 questionnaires were used for final analysis. Using SPSS Program for data analysis, the Cronbach’s α, exploratory factor analysis, factor analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were performed. The results of this study are as follows. First, there were significantly positive correlations between career capability, adaptability. Second, career ability affected career ability to adapt. It implies that career capability could play important roles in relation to new career ability. Thus, it aims to provide basic data necessary to the successful career preparation of women with career interruption.

이 연구는 경력단절여성의 진로역량이 진로적응성에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구로 경력단 절여성들이 성공적인 재취업 후 새로운 직업 환경에 효과적으로 적응하기 위한 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 진로역량 척도와 진로적응성 척도가 사용되었으며, 연구는 2018년 2월 5일부터 3월 5일까지 서울·경기 지역의 직업학교, 뷰티아카데미, 여성 회관에서 미용교육을 1-9개월 이상 받고 있는 30-50대, 기혼, 6개월 이상 직장경험 이 있는 경력단절여성 400명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 361부의 설문지가 최종분석에 사용되었으며, 데이터 분석은 SPSS프로그램으로 Cronbach’s α, 탐색적요인 분석, 요인분석, 빈도분석, 상관분석 및 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 분석을 통해 나타난 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로역량과 진로적응성 간에는 유의한 정적 상관관계 가 나타났다. 둘째, 진로역량이 진로적응성에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났다. 이는 경력단절여성이 재취업 후 새로운 직업 환경에 적응하기 위해 진로적 응성을 높이기 위해 진로역량이 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다는 것을 시사하고 있어 경력단절 여성의 성공적인 사회 복귀에 필요한 진로프로그램 개발에 기초자료로 제공하고자 한다.
