Legal aid system is the law to help the poor, the weak and the disabled. It is an important measure to achieve equality and improve the social security legal system, and a judicial aid system widely adopted by most countries in the world. South Korea is the first country to establish legal aid system in Asian countries, its modern legal aid system originated in 1956. On the basis of absorbing the advanced legal aid system in western welfare countries, the legal aid system in Korea has been constantly improved and developed after decades of development.
