This paper looked at how Ki Hyung-do' poetic images were reproduced in the relationship between antiques and toys. The historical consciousness inherent in his poems can be found between J. Agamben, who sees the toy as the secularization of the sacred and W. Benjamin, who understands play as a kind of ritual. The inner and psychological aspects of his poetry are reflected in images of age, toys, and play through the technique of reminiscence, which is the key point to this study. Ki Hyung-do's poetic text put life as a continuum on hold by staying away from reality. This means that in order to save the object, it is supposed to destroy the (false) context to which the object belongs. Crossing over the realm of reality and fantasy, Ki Hyung-do's poems organize and reconstruct pieces of memory from the present point of view and indicate a constellation of the future. For a long time, the ability to imitate something unique to humans has been expressed and made various variations through play. Toys act as a time-like historical code. It is a way of showing the relationship with historical objects. In Ki Hyung-do's poems, the way in which the past is reproduced lies in the dialectic relationship between antiques and toys. The old ideology he thinks is expressed as antiques which are tools to recognize the present and future. On the other hand, toys are tools for playing with new and diverse things that are old and trite. The historical nature of antiques and toys in Ki Hyung-do's poems is important in that the past is laid in many ways in the present, and is constantly reinterpreted at this point.

본고는 기형도 시에 나타난 이미지의 재현방식을 골동품과 장난감의 관계 속에서 살펴보고자 한다. 기형도 시에 내재한 역사의식은 장난감을 신성한 것의 세속화로 보는 아감벤과 놀이를 일종의 제의적 의미로 파악하는 벤야민 사이에 서 발견할 수 있다. 회상의 방식을 통해 내면적이고 심리적인 시간 인식의 측면 들이 반영된 ‘늙음’, ‘장난감’, ‘놀이’ 형태의 이미지들은 이 연구의 중요한 단서가 된다. 기형도의 텍스트에서 현실과의 ‘거리두기’는 연속체로서의 삶을 ‘일시정 지’ 상태에 두는 것이다. 이는 대상을 구제하기 위해서 그 대상이 속해 있는 (잘 못된) 맥락을 파괴하는 것이 전제되어야 함을 의미한다. 현실과 환상의 세계를 넘나들며 현재적 시각으로 편집하고 재구성된 기억의 파편들은 미래를 향하는 하나의 성좌를 제시한다. 인간 본래의 특성인 모방능력은 놀이를 통해 발현되고, 오랜 시간 동안 다양 하게 변형되고 변주되어왔다. 시간성을 지닌 역사적 암호로서의 장난감은 역사 적 대상과의 관계를 나타내는 하나의 방식이다. 기형도의 시에서 과거를 재현하 는 방식은 골동품과 장난감의 변증법적 관계 속에 놓여있다. 그에게 낡은 이데올 로기는 현재와 미래를 새롭게 인식하기 위한 도구로서의 골동품이다. 반면, 장난 감은 오래되고 낡은 것들을 새롭고도 다양하게 재생하는 놀이로서의 도구이다. 기형도 시에 나타난 골동품과 장난감 사이의 역사성은 과거가 현재 속에 다양한 방식으로 놓여있으며, 현시점에서 끊임없이 재해석 된다는 데에 중요한 의미를 지닌다.
