The purpose of this study is to examine how the Japanese learner of Korean pronounces the five vowels of modern Japanese “イ, エ, ア, オ, ウ” from the acoustical phonetics' viewpoint. As a result, it is possible to visualize the distribution pattern and distribution range of 5 Japanese vowels of Japanese learners. In this distribution pattern, there is a slight difference from vowel distribution pattern of native speakers. (1) The ‘イ’ and ‘ア’ vowels show a similar distribution to native speakers. (2) It is confirmed that the vowels ‘エ, オ, ウ’ have a wide distribution pattern. This is thought to be the result of the interference of the native language. Concretely, the distribution range of the 5 modern Japanese vowels applied to the IPA vowel chart is as follows.

본 연구는 한국인 일본어 학습자가 현대 일본어의 5 모음 “イ, エ, ア, オ, ウ”를 발음 할 　때 어떻게 발음하는지 그 발음의 실체를 음향음성학 관점에서 검토하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 그 결과, 일본어 학습자의 일본어 5 모음의 분포 패턴 및 분포 범위를 시각화 할 수 있었다. 이 분포 패턴에서 일본어 모어화자의 발화에 따른 모음 분포 패턴과 약간 차이가 있었다. (1) ‘イ’와 ‘ア’ 모음은 일본어와 유사한 분포를 보여주었다. (2) ‘エ, オ, ウ’ 모음은 폭넓은 분포패턴을 하고 있다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 이것은 모어의 간섭에서 기인한 결과라고 생각할 수 있다. 구체적으로 현대 일본어 5 모음의 분포 범위를 IPA 모음 차트에 적용하여 정리하면 다음과 같다.
