This paper examines the ways of teaching individual learning by using KakaoTalk in basic Chinese and basic Japanese language education. Since basic Chinese and Japanese are especially important for individual learning because of individual differences of learners, KakaoTalk is considered to be excellent in terms of accessibility of learners. In the Chinese education and Japanese language education, the case study of the pronunciation learning and character learning were analyzed, and more efficient individual learning guidance were suggested. First, it is necessary to limit individual learning instruction items based on the goals of the class. The most important thing is the feedback of the instructor, but it is directly connected with the burden of the instructor. Therefore, it is necessary to recognize that it is important to reduce the burden of the instructor in order to provide more individual instruction. Particularly, some idea about immediate feedback and restriction of the submission type is absolutely necessary and the use of PC version of KakaoTalk is suggested.

본 논문은 교양외국어 과목 중 기초중국어와 기초일본어 교육에 있어서 SNS 중 카카오톡을 활용하여 개인별 학습지도를 할 수 있는 방안을 고찰해 본 것이다. 기초중국어와 일본어는 학습자의 개인차가 크기 때문에 개인별 학습지도가 특히 필요하고, 한편 카카오톡은 학습자의 접근성에있어서 우수하다고 판단했기 때문에 활용해보고자 한 것이다. 중국어교육과 일본어교육에서 발음학습과 문자학습 사례를 분석하여 이를 바탕으로 보다 효율적인 개인별 학습지도를 위한 방안을 제언하였다. 먼저 수업의 목표에 기준하여 개인별 학습지도항목을 한정하여야 하며 학습지도 형태도 다양한 효과를 고려하여 결정 후 사전 고안을 할 필요가 있다. 가장 중요한 것은 교수자의 피드백이지만 이는 교수자의 부담으로 직결되므로 보다 지속적으로 개인별 학습지도를 하기 위해서는 교수자의 부담경감이 중요하다는 점을 인식하고 이를 상세하게 준비할 필요가 있다. 특히 피드백의 즉각성 및 과제제출 형태의 제한은 반드시 필요하며 카카오톡의 PC판 활용도 제안하다.
