The results for analyzing the purpose of movement between Korean and Japanese expressions are as follows. 1. Japanese form of ｢ます(masu) form of kaNgoverb+ni＋iku｣ expresses the purpose of a certain movement stronger than the shape ｢kaNgonoun+ni＋iku｣. Consequently, in online news headlines, the shape of ｢masu form of kaNgoverb+ni＋iku｣ is more widely used. It is recommended the form ｢masu form of kaNgoverb+ni＋iku｣ should also be listed in textbooks for learning Japanese. 2. In Korean ｢kaNgoverbs, the form ｢kaNgonoun+eur gada｣ is not typically listed in textbooks, however, it is recommended to list ｢kaNgonoun+eur gada｣ along with the shape ｢kaNgonoun+ni＋iku｣. 3. The noun in Korean ｢kaNgonoun+eur gada｣ includes motional verb and locational verb which the latter is not used for Japanese verbs. Motional verb means “go to do something” while locational verb also expresses the motion caused in the location (such as “go to the hospital” expresses the motion “to see the doctor”). 일본어의 이동의 목적을 나타내는 형태인 ｢～しにいく(siniiku)｣형은 화어동사와 한어동사에 사 용된다. ｢～しにいく(siniiku)｣형은 이동을 하여 목적의 동작을 하게 되므로 이동과 목적이 분리되 어, 목적인 동작이 두드러진다. ｢～にいく(niiku)｣형은 한어동사에만 사용되며 ｢하다｣동사의 탈락 으로 동작이 숨게 되어 이동과 목적인 동작이 분리되지 않으므로 동작이 두드러지지 않는다. 따라 서 이동과 동시에 목적인 동작이 이루어지는 ｢여행하다｣ ｢출장하다｣와 같은 동사는 ｢～にいく (niiku)｣형밖에 사용하지 못 한다. 일본어의 ｢～にいく(niiku)｣형에 대응하는 한국어의 ｢러 가다｣형은 일본어 ｢～にいく(niiku)｣형 과 같게 사용되나 漢語동사의 경우는 일본어 보다 사용빈도가 높다. 일본어의 ｢～にいく(niiku)｣형 에 대응하는 ｢～을 가다｣형은 일본어의 ｢～にいく(niiku)｣형과 같게 사용된다. 다만, 일본어에는 사 용되지 않는 ｢서점을 가다｣와 같은 장소성명사에도 사용되어 그 장소에서 행하는 구체적인 동작이 함의되는 특징이 있다. 일본어 교재에는 일본어 한어동사의 경우 ｢～にいく(niiku)｣형만을 제시하고 한국어의 ｢～러 가 다｣형만을 대응시키고 있으나, 인터넷상에서 높은 빈도수를 보이는 ｢～しにいく(siniiku)｣형도 함께 제시하고 ｢～にいく(niiku)｣형의 의미상으로 적합한 한국어의 ｢～을 가다｣형도 함께 제시하는 것이 바람직하겠다.
