This thesis studies how to distinguishingly use ‘Zibun-Zisin’ and the first person pronoun+’Zisin’, in which the key points include: a viewpoint theory and a binding theory, and how the meaning of ‘Zibun-Zisin’ relates to the separate usage of both ‘Zibun-Zisin’ and the first person pronoun+’Zisin’. 1) ‘Zibun-Zisin’ and the first person pronoun+’Zisin’are distinguishingly used in accordance with where the point of view exist and the meaning of Zibun-Zisin: when a point of view is simply from first person point of view (i.e., externally), the first person pronoun+’Zisin’ can be used while a point of view is from deep inside first person point of view (i.e., internally), ‘Zibun-Zisin’ can be used. ‘Zibun-Zisin’ reflects the meanings as not only an intrinsically inherent ego (essence) but also an appearing body and identity. 2) ‘Zibun-Zisin’ is difficult to be used in the main clause of a complex sentence.

본 논문은 ‘自分自身’과 ‘(1인칭대명사)自身’을 어떻게 구별하여 사용할 수 있는가를 밝히기 위하여 고찰한 것이다. 고찰의 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 1) 시점의 위치와 ‘自分自身’의 의미에 의해서 ‘自分自身’과 ‘(1인칭대명사)自身’은 구별하여 사용된다. 시점이 밖에 있을 경우에는 ‘(1인칭대명사)自身’을 이용할 수 있고, 시점이 안에 있을 경우에는 ‘自分自身’을 이용할 수 있다. ‘自分自身’에는 내면적인 본 래의 자신(본질)과 외면적인 몸이나 신상이라고 하는 의미가 반영된다. 2) ‘自分自身’은 복문의 주절에 나타나기 어렵다.
