Buson’s SHUNPU BATEIKYOKU and DENGAKA are set in Husimi, the head of Yodogawa, and Gema, the end point in Osaka. With boundless imagination, they describe the scenary of the riverside realistically and provide unique cadence. Yodogawa which would have been a ordinary riverside view is expressed as a symbol of human life containing yearning from old memory and joy and sorrow of everyday life. Due to such expressions, these are counted as pieces which maximized the world of literary imagination set in Yodogawa. Moreover, Saikaku’s piece which is based on the world of money and pleasure entertainment describes various scenes of waterside. By focusing on the covert conflict and flow of emotions caused on the deck of a night-boat flowing down Yodogawa, the degree of literary completion is risen. From here, distinctions from interactional relations of japanese culture and Yodogawa in literary works set in riverside of Yodogawa will be analyzed. Including a piece by Danizaku Junichiro’s ASIKARI written in Mugennoh style, features and literary meanings of pieces set in Yodogawa, expressing literary imaginary power will be analyzed.

부손의 ｢슌푸바테쿄쿠(春風馬堤曲)｣ 18수와, ｢덴가카(澱河歌)｣의 3수는 요도가와의 하행 시발점인 후시미와 오사카의 종점에 가까운 게마를 배경으로 한다, 무한한 상상력 으로 현실의 천변풍경을 묘사하며, 독특한 문장의 운율을 제공한다. 일상의 풍경이었을 요도가와를, 먼 기억의 그리움과 현실의 애환이란 인간사의 대상으로 표현해 낸 그의 시 가는, 요도가와를 소재로 문학적인 상상의 세계를 극대화한 대표적인 작품이다. 또한 사이카쿠는 금전과 유흥의 세계를 묘사하는 그의 작품에는 다양한 수변풍경이 묘사되어 있다. 요도가와 하행 밤배의 선상에서 일어나는 인간 내면의 갈등과 감정의 움 직임에 주목하는 점으로 문학적인 완성도를 높여준다. 이하, 요도가와 천변을 배경으로 묘사되어 온 다수의 일본문학 속의 정서를 소재로, 일본문화와 요도가와의 상호 영향관 계의 특징적 현상을 파악한다. 다니자키 준이치로의 소설로 무겐노(夢幻能)의 형식의 『아시카리(芦刈)』를 포함해 요 도가와를 배경으로 문학적 상상력을 발휘한 작품들의 특징과 문학적 의미를 분석한다.
