As a result, it was possible to divide product articles into unit of district(郡) and item category according to the describing method in IzumoHudoki. Starting from Ou District(意宇郡) through all 9 districts, product articles in unit of district had the same ｢凡諸山野所在草木、云々、禽獸則有、云々｣and writing format. Also, fields and mountains (山野), river (河川), ponds and hills (池․坡), coast (海岸) indicated each unit of item category in product articles, and if the product represented that they were from the area, ｢有｣ ｢在｣ ｢生｣ ｢住｣or ｢捕｣were used, but in a particular way. Regardless of product type or producing area, ｢有｣was used in all districts to follow the form <有＋product name> as the writing format. As it was shown in the following examples ｢凡諸山野所在草木、禽獸則有｣or <在＋forest>, <生＋ seaweed>, and <捕＋albacore>, ｢在｣ ｢生｣ ｢住｣and ｢捕｣were more often found to express products with production place than production type. Moreover, it was evident that product articles listed in the unit of item category were written mostly in inserted note form throughout the document. Thus, it is inferable that this type of writing system was highly effective in using the describing method to categorize products in corresponding areas. This dissertation focuses on understanding the describing method used to write product articles in IzumoHudoki and on verification about the distinct use of ｢有｣ ｢在｣ ｢生｣ ｢住｣and ｢捕｣applied in product articles.

본 논문은 이즈모국 풍토기의 산물기사 형식 및 산물기사에 보이는 「有」「在」「生」「住」「捕」를 중심으로 각 용자의 사용법에 대해 고찰하였다. 이즈모국 풍토기의 산물기사는 군 단위와 항목 단위로 나누어 볼 수 있는데 먼저 군 단위의 산물 기사는 意宇郡을 비롯하여 9개의 전군에 걸쳐 「凡諸山野所在草木、云.、 禽獸則有、云」로 유사한 기재 형식을 취한다. 다음으로 山野, 河川,池ㆍ坡, 海岸 등 의 각 항목 단위의 산물 기사는 그곳에 산물이 있음을 나타내는 경우 「有」「在」「生」「住」「捕」가 사용되며, 그 중 「有」 가 가장 많이 사용되었다. 특히 「有」는 산물의 종 류나 생산 장소에 관계없이 <有+산물이름>의 정형화된 기재 형식으로 모든 군에서 이 용되었다. 한편 「在」「生」「住」「捕」의 경우는 「凡諸山野所在草木、云.、禽獸則有、 云」의 패턴이나 <在+樹林><生+海藻類><浦+志毗魚>등의 용례와 같이 특정 산물에 특 정 용자가 사용되고 있어 생산 장소보다 산물의 종류에 의한 표기 글자의 구분이 있었 음을 알 수 있었다.
