The structure analysis of discourse for Japanese interview - Targeting discourse of the university publication interview -

A goal of this study is to define how native Japanese speakers obtain information as foundational research which is to apply Japanese education. In this study, extracting information from third party is defined as "information gleaching" by questioning for certain purpose and was analized based on targeting discourse of the university publication interview. The structure analysis of discourse is studied by making distinction as "spoken paragraph" with critation based purpose of participants, cohensiveness of the stubstance, and combining "utterance functions". The discourse is identified as three different kind of the big spoken paragragh: "1. opening part", "2. main subject part", and "3. closing part", moreover, the "2. main subject part" is accredited as three different spoken paragraph: "activity background", "guest's background", and "future action". Additionaly, participant's parole, type of utterance functions, total number, submittion order, and language expression. As a result, it was different to use utterance functions by spoken paragraph, and particular parole such as speech evolving next was observed after summarizing about questions to confirm answers from guests, prefaced inqeries of "instance explanation", "position representation", and uniting guest's response.
