The purpose of this study was to recognize the factors influencing adjustment to college life among nursing transfer students in Korea and to provide baseline data to be used to improve their adjustment to college life. The data were collected through structured questionnaires from 142 nursing transfer students enrolled in seven colleges in B city and K province between June 1 to November 30, 2016. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression using SPSS 20.0. Factors influencing adjustment to college life among participants include stress, emotional intelligence, satisfaction with major and motivation for selecting nursing as major. The findings of this study suggest that it is necessary to develop educational programs that can help students adapt to college life by reducing stress and enhancing emotional intelligence and satisfaction with major.

본 연구의 목적은 간호학과 편입생의 대학생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴봄으로써 간호학 과 편입생의 대학생활 적응을 돕기 위한 기초자료를 마련하고자 수행되었다. 자료 수집기간은 2016 년 6월 1일부터 11월 30일까지 이었으며. 대상자는 B시와 K도에 소재 7개 대학의 간호학과 편입생 142명을 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 t- test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient 및 hierarchical regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 스트레스, 감성 지능, 직업태도성숙 및 대학생활 적응은 각 평균 2.93±0.72, 3.77±0.43, 3.57±0.46 및 3.34±0.64이었다. 대학생활 적응은 스트레스 (r=-.425, p<.001), 감성지능 (r=.418, p<.001) 및 진로태도성숙(r=.220, p=.009)과 통계적으로 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 대학생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인은 스트레스, 감성지능 및 전공 만족도와 지원동기 이었다. 따라서 스트레스를 감소시키고 감성지능과 전공만족 도를 높여 간호학과 편입생들의 대학생활 적응을 도울 수 있는 교육프로그램 개발이 필요하다.
