Analysis and interpretation of the play text is not only the first step but also a very important process in making a play to be completed on the stage by actors and a director. How the director analyzes the text is the most basic element that determines the performance style of the theater, and it also serves as a decisive factor in presenting the concept and direction to the design of the roles of the actors and the actors involved in theater productions. The theatrical text is developed based on the structure of human desire and the conflict based on the desire, and human desire has the aspect of consciousness and unconsciousness expressed by action. You can create analytical tools using theory. Freud distinguished between consciousness and unconsciousness as a mental energy and local model of a human, and proposed the id, ego, and superego as structural theories of personality. These Freudian psychoanalytic theories provide very important key elements in analyzing theater texts. Freud's theory of psychoanalysis is sufficient to become a theater text analysis tool when the theater text is created by the conflict and the action by the desire of the human being. Therefore, we have developed a methodology that can directly help the producers and actors in the theatrical production process of the theatrical text analysis by Freud's psychoanalytic theory and can more clearly analyze the structure of the theatrical texts and the behavior patterns of the characters.

연출가와 배우에 의해 한편의 연극이 만들어지는 과정에서 연극텍스트의 분석 및 해석은 작품의 완 성을 위한 첫걸음으로 매우 중요한 과정이다. 연출가가 텍스트를 어떻게 분석하는가는 연극의 공연양식 을 결정짓는 가장 기본적인 요소이면서 또한 배우들의 역할창조나 연극 제작에 참여하는 스텝들의 디자 인에 개념과 방향성을 제시하는 결정적인 요소로 작용되기 때문에 연출가의 작업과정에서 가장 중요한 부분이라고 할 수 있다. 연극텍스트는 인간 욕망의 구조와 욕망에 의한 갈등 양상을 기반으로 전개되는 것이 일반적이고, 인간의 욕망은 의식과 무의식이 행동으로 표출되는 양상을 띠고 있음에 착안하여 연극텍스트 분석방법으로 프로이드의 정신분석이론을 활용하여 분석도구를 만들 수가 있다. 프로이드는 인간의 정신에너지와 지역모형으로서 의식, 전의식, 무의식을 구분해냈으며, 그리고 성격의 구조 모형으로 이드, 자아, 초자아 를 제시하였다. 프로이드의 정신분석이론은 연극텍스트를 분석하는데 있어서 매우 중요한 핵심 요소들 을 제공하고 있다고 할 수 있으므로 연극텍스트 분석 도구가 되기에 충분하다 하겠다. 따라서 프로이드 의 정신분석이론에 의한 연극텍스트 분석의 효과로서 연출가 및 배우들의 연극제작과정에 직접적인 도 움이 될 수 있으며, 이러한 분석도구로 연극텍스트의 구조와 인물들의 행동양상을 보다 명확하게 분석해 내고자 한다.
