Modern life has become increasingly complex, and there are various kinds of safety accidents happening in places such as houses, roads, construction sites, and industrial sites. Safety procedures and training are necessary to prevent safety accidents, but professional medical and rehabilitation training is needed to heal the mental trauma of patients after an accident and to return to normal. In this study, I develop virtual reality technology-based therapeutic content that provides a high level of immersion in order to quickly restore life to daily life and facilitate economic activities. It aims to treat early detection and mental illness through systematic exposure therapy to an accident site or an object of fear. In this paper, I specifically presented the research and development process conducted while developing VR contents for the treatment of PTSD.

현대 생활이 복잡해지고 주택, 도로, 건설, 산업 현장 등의 사회 곳곳에 위험요소들이 증가하면서 다양한 종류의 안 전사고들이 발생하고 있다. 안전사고 예방을 위해 안전 수칙과 교육이 사전에 필요하지만 사고 발생 후에 환자들의 정신적인 상처를 치유하고 일상으로 빠른 복귀를 위해서는 전문적인 의료 및 재활교육이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 사고자들이 일상으로의 삶을 빠르게 되찾고 경제활동을 원활하게 하기 위해서 고도의 몰입을 제공하는 가상현실 (Virtual Reality, VR) 기술 기반의 치료 콘텐츠를 개발한다. 이는 사고 현장이나 두려운 대상을 체계적인 노출치 료를 통해 조기발견 및 정신질환을 치료하기 위함이다. 본 논문에서는 교통사고에 따른 외상 후 스트레스장애 (PTSD) 치료를 위한 VR 콘텐츠를 개발 하면서 진행한 연구 내용과 개발 과정을 구체적으로 제시하였다.
