The purpose of this study is to explore the common practice strategies and future direction of ACE project re-entry universities in the field of liberal arts education which contributed to the creation and diffusion of undergraduate education excellence model from 2010 to 2017 when ACE project was started. The ACE business re-entry universities' one cycle feasibility 12 report and two cycle annual 12 report, total of 24 reports are analyzed. In order to conceptualize this area, two coders conducted content analysis. The results of the study are as follows. The common practice strategies of ACE project re-entry universities include the establishment and extension of the liberal arts education institute, the establishment and operation of capacity-based liberal arts curriculum, the development and opening of the integrated cultural curriculum, the strengthening of writing education, And the emphasis on combined humanity education. In addition, the future direction of development is presented. Based on the results of the above research, it is necessary to carry out research for developing programs suitable to the context and situation of each school.

본 연구는 ACE사업이 시작된 2010년부터 2017년까지 학부교육 우수모델 창출과 확산에 기 여하고 있는 ACE사업 재진입 대학들이 교양교육영역에서 펼친 공통적 실천 전략들과 앞으로의 운영방향성에 대해 탐색해보고자 하였다. ACE사업 재진입 대학들의 1주기 사업성과 보고서 12부 및 2주기 연차보고서 12부, 총 24부 의 사업보고서를 분석대상으로 하였으며, 분석대상 영역은 ‘교양교육과정 운영 실적’이다. 이 영역 을 개념화하고자 두 명의 코더가 내용분석을 실시하였으며, 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. ACE사 업 재진입 대학들의 공통적 실천 전략으로는 교양교육 전담기구의 신설 및 확대, 역량기반 교양 교육과정 구축 및 운영, 융·복합 교양교과목 개발 및 개설, 글쓰기 교육 강화, 신입생 대학 적응 교육 실시, 이론과 실천이 결합된 인성교육의 강조 등이 있었다. 또한 이에 따른 앞으로의 발전방 향성에 대해 탐색해보았다. 상기의 연구결과로 도출된 내용들에 기초하여 각 학교의 맥락과 상황 에 적합한 프로그램 개발을 위한 연구가 선행될 필요가 있다.
