In order to specify the relationship between college taekwondo athletes’ major satisfaction and career preparation behavior, this study performed a survey targeting 278 college taekwondo athletes registered on the Korea Taekwondo Association in 2017. Data was collected and processed with SPSS 21.0 using correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The study results can be summarized as below. First, as a result of analyzing the correlation between college taekwondo athletes’ major satisfaction and career preparation behavior, general satisfaction, awareness satisfaction, and relationship satisfaction had positive (+) correlations with all the sub-factors of career preparation behavior. Subject satisfaction had positive (+) correlations with information collection activity, job experience activity, and job preparation activity. Second, college taekwondo athletes’ general satisfaction and awareness satisfaction had positive (+) effects on course exploration activity. Subject satisfaction and relationship satisfaction had positive (+) effects on information collection activity and job experience activity. All the sub-factors of major satisfaction had positive (+) effects on job preparation activity.

이 연구는 대학 태권도 선수들의 전공만족과 진로준비행동의 관계를 규명하고자 2017년 대한태권도협회에 등 록된 대학 태권도 선수 278명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문에 대한 자료처리는 SPSS 21.0 통계프로그램 을 이용하여 상관관계분석 및 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 대학 태권도 선수들의 전공만 족과 진로준비행동의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 일반만족, 인식만족, 관계만족은 진로준비행동의 하위변인 모두에 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 교과만족은 정보수집활동, 직업체험활동, 취업준비활동에서 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 대 학 태권도 선수들의 일반만족과 인식만족은 진로탐색활동에 정적 영향력을 미쳤다. 교과만족과 관계만족은 정보수집활 동과 직업체험활동에 정적 영향력을 미쳤다. 전공만족의 하위변인 모두는 취업준비활동에 정적 영향력을 미쳤다.
