The change into the 4th industrial revolution era with the characteristics of hyper-connection and hyper-intelligence is the irreversible time flow, which has begun already. The hyper-intelligence of artificial intelligence asks for finding the uniqueness and identity of human beings from places other than intelligence. And the future community where human and human, human and machine, and machine and machine are hyper-connected by transcending the time and space through the advanced ICT, asks us for the new community spirit and the upgraded ability to resolve conflicts. The preparation for the time change is essential for maintaining the continuity of human beings. Therefore, our society should ask for the humanity education that could cultivate the talent suitable for the 'hyper-connected' and 'hyper-intellectualized'' 4th industrial revolution era as the preparation for maintaining the continuity of human beings. Thus, the author suggested the main contents of Yangming studies as the original thought for humanity education that could meet the above needs. First, the innate knowledge that is the core concept of Yangming studies is the 'mind of empathy' creating suitable behaviors by empathizing with others. This is the core of humans' uniqueness that could not be replaced with the hyper-intellectualized artificial intelligence. Thus, the humanity education should pursue the education in which the innate knowledge has been revealed as an empathic ability. Second, the method of clarifying the principle of nature and removing selfish human desires that preserves/enhances the innate knowledge has the important significance as a method of humanity education to resolve social conflicts and also to cultivate humans that live together with others/community in the 4th industrial revolution era in which the relations of community get more complex and diversified. Third, in the community of the 4th industrial era composed of the complex connections and mutually-close relations, the relational self-realization is the goal of the future humanity education. The saint that has reached the boundary of the unity of the world through the relations with all the objects by realizing the innate knowledge has the value of humanity education as a complete model of humanity education realizing the relational ego in the community of the hyper-connected 4th industrial era.

초연결(Hyper-Connection), 초지능화(Hyper-Intelligence)를 특징으로 하는 제4차 산업혁명시대로의 변화는 거스를 수 없는 시대의 흐름이며, 이미 시작되었다. 인공지능의 초지능화 현상은 인류에게 지성이 아닌 다른 곳에서 인간만의 고유성과 정체성을 찾을 것을 요청한다. 그리고 발달된 ICT를 통해 시간과 공간을 초월하여 인간과 인간, 인간과 기계, 기계와 기계가 초연결된 미래의 공동체는 우리에게 새로운 공동체의식과 업그레이드된 갈등해결 능력을 요청한다. 시대의 변화에 대한 준비는 인간 존재의 지속성을 유지하기 위해서 필수부가결하다. 그러므로 우리 사회는 인간존재의 지속성을 유지하기 위한 준비로서 ‘초연결’, ‘초지능화’된 4차 산업혁명시대에 걸맞는 인재를 양성할 수 있는 인성교육을 요청해야한다. 이에 필자는 본 연구에서 위와 같은 요구에 부응할 수 있는 인성교육을 위한 원천 사상으로서 양명학의 주요내용을 제시하였다. 첫째, 양명학의 핵심 개념인 양지는 타자에게 공감하여 적합한 행위를 창출하는 ‘공감능력인 진성측달(眞誠惻怛)의 마음’이다. 이는 초지능화된 인공지능으로는 대체될 수 없는 인간 고유성 핵심이다. 그러므로 인성교육에서는 공감능력으로서 진성측달하는 양지가 발현된 교육을 추구해야한다. 둘째, 사욕을 제거하고 양지를 보존하고 발양하는 존천리 거인욕(存天理去人欲)의 방법은 공동체의 연결 관계가 더욱 복잡해지고 다양화되어가는 제4차 산업혁명 시대에 타인·공동체와 더불어 살아가는 인간을 기르고, 사회적 갈등을 해결하는 인성교육 방법으로 중요한 의의를 가진다. 셋째, 복잡한 연결과 상호 밀접한 관계로 이루어진 4차 산업시대의 공동체 속에서 관계적 자아실현은 미래의 인성교육이 지향해야할 목표이다. 양지를 실현하여 주체와 모든 대상들의 관계맺음을 통해 천지만물 일체의 경계에 도달한 성인은 초연결된 4차 산업시대의 공동체 속에서 관계적 자아를 실현한 인성교육의 완성 모델로 인성 교육적 가치를 지닌다.
