The hair style had been changed its image while increasing male’s esthetic requirements. Recently, the marketing toward male customers had been increased such as hair shop, skin care shop, cosmetics, massage for man. The satisfaction level of modern men had been increased due to professional and esthetical service for man. The demand of permanent wave had been increased to create hair style with easy trimming and time saving. The increased demand trend had maximized esthetical value to meet personal characteristic and preference and developed technology along with creating wave for permanent wave as the first purpose. As the work to analyze, understand, and express the artistic hair art of permanent wave for man, it is needed to creative ability and technique development for the art organically. This study is aiming to understand the male permanent while men are increasing their esthetic value in modern society. To increase the precise understand level about hair works by analyzing National skill contests between 2014 ~ 2016 and comparing and analyzing exam questions about hair design of male permanent based on the design rule, the harmony of work applied on above result had been investigated by analyzing perm design shape in male permanent wave and salon. Based on the result, the following studies might be changed other exam questions into other salon styles by changing male preference and curl shape in accordance with hair condition, and it could be created original and creative styles.

헤어스타일은 남성들의 미적 욕구가 증대되면서 이미지를 변화시키고 있으며, 최근에는 남성소비자를 위한 남성 전용 헤어샵, 피부 관리실, 남성전용 화장품, 남성전용 마사지 등 남성을 대상으로 한 마케팅이 주를 이루고 있으며, 현대 남성들에 대한 전문적이고 미적서비스를 받을 수 있는 만족감이 향상되고 있는 것으로 볼 수 있으며, 시간 절약이 되고 손질이 편한 헤어스타일을 연출하기 위해 퍼머넌트 웨이브의 수요가 증가되고 있으 며, 이러한 수요의 증가는 퍼머넌트 웨이브에 있어 단지 웨이브를 형성하는 일차적인 목적 외에도 개개인의 개성과 취향에 맞추어 미적 가치를 극대화시키고 기술적 발전은 이루게 하였으며 퍼머넌트웨이브의 예술적 헤어작품을 분석하고 이해하며 표하는 작업 으로, 작품의 창의적인 능력과 기능인 발전이 유기적으로 이루어져야 한다. 이에 본 연구 에서는 현대사회에서 남성들도 미적 가치가 높아지고 있으며 남성 퍼머넌트의 이해도를 높이고자한다. 전국기능경기대회는 년도별 작품을 분석하고 헤어디자인 남성 퍼머넌트 웨이브 출제과제를 디자인법칙에 의해 비교 분석하여 작품에 관해서 정확한 이해도를 높이고. 이를 응용한 펌 디자인을 남성 퍼머넌트웨이브 작품과 살롱에서의 펌 디자인의 형태를 분석하여 작품의 조화로움을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 후속 연구에서는 좀 더 남성들에 대한 선호도 스타일 및 모발상태에 따른 컬의 형태정도나 다른 출전과제들 이 또 다른 살롱 스타일로 재해석 하며, 독창적이고 개성 있는 스타일로 많이 보여 질 것으로 사료된다.
