The purpose of this article is to investigate artificial intelligence's influence on human reason and behavior in the context of Christian theology and pastoral counseling. To accomplish this end, this article compares and analyzes various articles; and examines God's authority and Christian anthropology. It also explores suffering and human finitude through the discipline of pastoral counseling. The main findings of this study are as follows. Firstly, the emergence of artificial intelligence is the expression of instinctual desire of a human being to violate God's area of creation. Secondly, a posthumanistic orientation to rescue human beings from their finitude and death through machines is contrary to Christianity anthropology emphasizing rescue by God. Thirdly, we have to consider cure and healing through artificial intelligence not as genuine, but as a 'deletion' of suffering and despair. Fourthly, strong AI advocates try to transcend human finitude and death by uploading human mind into machines. In conclusion, this article confirms that artificial intelligence is not only technology, but also religion. Also, it encourages ministers and theologians to participate in the active discussion for the true sense of healing in an era of artificial intelligence.

본 논문의 목적은 인공지능이 인간의 사고와 행동에 미치는 영향에 대하여 기독교신학과 목회상담학적인 관점에서 고찰하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 인공지능에 관한 논문들을 비교 분석하였으며 하나님의 영역과 기독교적 인간관을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 한편, 목회상담학적인 접근을 위하여 고통과 인간의 유한성을 탐색하였다. 본 논문의 주요 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인공지능의 출현은 하나님의 창조의 영역을 극복하고자 하는 인간의 원초적인 욕망의 표출이다. 둘째, 기계를 통한 인간의 유한성과 죽음으로부터의 구원을 강조하는 포스트휴머니즘은 하나님을 통한 구원을 강조하는 기독교적 인간관과 상반된다. 셋째, 인공지능으로 인한 치료와 치유는 진정한 치료와 치유라기보다 고통과 절망의‘삭제’라고 해야 할 것이다. 넷째, 강한 인공지능 주창자들은 마음을 기계에 업로딩함으로써 인간의 유한성과 죽음을 초월하고자 한다. 결론으로, 본 논문은 인공지능은 테크놀러지일 뿐만 아니라 종교의 모습으로 우리에게 다가오고 있음을 확인해 준다. 또한 인공지능 시대에 인간을 위한 진정한 치유가 무엇인지에 대하여 목회자와 신학자들의 활발한 논의를 요청한다.
