This study was conducted to ascertain the mediating effects of aggression in high school students' relationship with smartphone overuse and cyberbullying. Data were collected from 328 high school students in K city using self-report questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. The results show that cyberbullying has a positive correlation with smatrphone overuse(r=.321, p<.001) and aggression(r=.397, p<.001). Smartphone overuse had a direct effect on aggression(β =.195, p=.014) and aggression had a direct effect on cyberbullying(β=.260, p=.007). In addition, the mediation effects of aggression on the relationship between smartphone overuse and cyberbullying were confirmed(β=.051, p=.007). In order to reduce cyberbullying in high school students, it will be necessary to develop cyber ethical awareness education programs to reduce aggression as well as regulations on excessive use of smartphones.

본 연구는 고등학생의 스마트폰 과다사용과 사이버불링의 관계에서 공격성의 매개효과를 확인하기 위해 진행되었 다. K시에 거주하는 고등학생 328명을 대상으로 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0과 AMOS 22.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 사이버불링은 스마트폰 과다사용(r=.321, p<.001), 공격성(r=.397, p<.001)과 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 스마트폰 과다사용은 공격성(β=.195, p=.014)에 직접적인 영향을 미치 고, 공격성은 사이버불링(β=.260, p=.007)에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 스마트폰 과다사용은 공격성(β =.051, p=.007)을 매개로 하여 사이버불링에 간접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 고등학생의 사이버불링을 감소시키기 위해 스마트폰 과다사용에 대한 규제와 함께 공격성 감소를 위한 사이버 윤리의식 교육 프로그램 개발 등이 필요할 것이라 생각된다.
