This paper sets up a comparative theme based on the existing research that can be represented as a modern new age individual in Japan and Korea, respectively, when Toshiko Tamura and Myeongsoon Kim are placed on a contrasting line. Although the theme of ‘love’ is a somewhat broad, Toshiko Tamura and Myeongsoon Kim can help understand the works of modern Korea and Japan women writers through their understanding of this topic. And analyzed their works and compared them. Toshiko Tamura expressed her love affair with Tsurujirou Kubokawa, a 19-year-old young man who is a husband of a young artist in her latter days work『Road of Mountain』. Myeongsoon Kim expressed her thoughts about love in the process of healing her wounded person through『love』.
