Since the beginning of industrialization, as the society develops, environmental hormones, which rapidly polluted the earth’s environment, threaten our humanity. However, modern people who are not aware of these risks are exposed to environmental pollution in pursuit of self-centered idea and convenient living. In recent years, more and more consumers have become aware of environmental pollution issues, and products that recycle waste to solve environmental pollution have emerged. In order to reduce environmental factors caused by discarded products, many items are being used as recycled products. In the field of cosmetics, a variety of recycling methods using discarded hair that can cause environmental pollution are being tried. This study aims to reproduce the works of the late impressionists, which are most similar to the idea of modern society, by using the waste hair for the artistic expression of hair art together with the recycling method of the waste hair. This study uses five famous works of Late Impressionist Age, , , , and to try to reproduce the five works. In addition to recycling the waste hair, which reuses waste hair and creates hair art works with the motif of late impressionist works, it breaks the frame of existing hair art and extends the artistic area of hair art to a new art work. In later researches, it is desired to study the creative hair art using waste hair, not just reproducing the works of the late.

산업화가 시작된 이후부터 사회가 발전함에 따라 지구의 환경을 급속도로 오염시키며 나타나는 환경 호르몬은 우리 인류를 위협하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 위험성을 인식하지 못한 현대인들은 자기중심적 사고와 편리한 생활환경을 추구하며 환경오염에 노출되어 가고 있다. 최근 환경오염의 문제를 심각하게 인식하는 소비자들이 늘어나며 환경오염을 해결하기 위해 폐기물을 재활용하는 제품이 등장했다. 버려지는 제품들에 의한 환경요인 을 줄이고자 많은 물건들이 재활용품으로 활용되고 있으며, 미용 분야에서는 환경오염을 일으킬 수 있는 버려지는 모발을 이용한 재활용 방법이 다양하게 시도되고 있다. 폐모발 의 재활용 방법과 함께 헤어아트의 광범위한 예술적 표현을 위하여 본 연구는 현대사회의 흐름과 정서에 가장 흡사한 후기 인상주의 시대의 작가 작품을 폐모발을 사용하여 재현하 고자 한다. 본 연구는 후기 인상주의 시대의 유명작가 작품 중 <까마귀가 나는 밀밭>, <홍학들>, <옛적부터 항상 계신 이>, <에펠탑>의 4가지 작품을 모티브로 활용하여 네 가지의 작품을 재현하고자 한다. 이처럼 폐모발을 재활용하여 후기 인상주의 작품을 모티 브로 헤어아트 작품을 제작함으로써 환경을 오염 시키는 폐모발의 재활용 방법 뿐 만 아니라 기존의 헤어아트 작품의 틀을 깨고 새로운 예술 작품으로써 헤어아트의 예술적 영역을 확장하고자 하였고 추후 후속 연구에서는 후기 인상주의 작가의 작품 재현이 아니라 폐모발을 이용한 창의적인 헤어아트 작품이 연구되기를 바란다.
