A Study on Car Lighting System using Open-Source Controller applicable to Construction Site Trailer Vehicles

초록

영어

In these days, the lighting system integrated with various application are needed to be dynamic and adaptive with lighting data rate control, and the data transmission methods are being studied to use effectively in many systems. The progressive development of lighting system extends the use of rear light of various vehicles to communication medium for transmission of data in addition to luminary function in driving with rear light turned on. The vehicles are designed to be operated with different speed and different light luminary devices, because the transmission method should be standardized to use the vehicle rear light system based data transmission for all kinds of vehicles. This paper proposes open-source controller applicable to construction site trailer vehicles as an lighting transmitter to transmit data on optical channel medium connected on vehicle. In this approach, vehicle transmit data without adding any additional resources by connecting micro-controller and the receiver decodes the data. The vehicle rear light based transmission system model can be operated on data rate from tens of b/s to Kb/s.
