Korea-China relations, North Korea-China relations and south and North Korea relations are becoming important factors, including the U.S.-China relationship, in the Northeast global politics. In particular, as North Korea developed nuclear weapons, Northeast Asian international relations have become contradictory among the countries, which in turn has led to the start of difficult new stages. However, from a geopolitical standpoint, it is important for the two countries(Korea and China) to develop their interests and security on the basis of stability and peace around Korean Peninsula. I think the challenge in Northeast Asia international relations, that Korea and China are currently facing, is the problem that Korea and China should work out together for solving the structural problems of international relations in Northeast Asia.

한중관계와 북중관계 및 남북한 관계는 동북아 국제관계에서 미중관계 등 강대국관계에 중요한 변수로 상호 작용하고 있다. 특히, 북한이 핵개발을 하고 이를 전력(戰力)를 진행하면서 동북아 국제관계는 각 국가 간 관계의 모순이 현상으로 드러나게 되는데, 한중관계도 이러한 국제정세의 변화에 따라 어려운 새 단계에 들어서게 되었다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 지정학적 입장에서 본다면 한중관계는 한반도 안정과 평화에 기초하여 양국의 이익과 안보를 동시에 고려하는 측면에서 발전하는 것이 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 현재 한국과 중국이 직면하고 있는 동북아 국제관계의 도전은 결국 한국과 중국이 서로 노력하며 풀어나가야 할 과제인 동북아국제관계 구조적 문제일 것이다.
