The loss rate published by the distributors is 0.3%∼1.4%, but the actual figure is estimated much higher. The distribution industry may regard this as unavoidable risk based on their industrial characteristics like dealing with various goods without taking any measures.
In this paper, in order to solve the problems that occurred in meats shop of big retail stores, we present a practical solution adopting cross-checking methods. As a result, the measures are presented in three sections: improving job flows based on moving distance of shop manager/staff: furnishing LAN-card built-in electro-scale, and adding user’s authentication rather than installation of new facility: supplementing the system which enables checking the weight from POS terminal, and increasing and updating the database of the distribution information on big retail stores.
The aforementioned measures are expected to contribute to lower the potential risks through the settlement of management and control including accurate sales and inventory management differently from current management base of sales amount, the identification of loss-causing factors, cross-check of goods’ quantity and amount and so on.If this study on the cross-check process of sales and payment is applied to improve the job-flows of the industries related to agricultural and marine products and other weight-centered sales activities as well as livestock industry, it is expected to contribute to systemize sales/inventory management, employee’s performance evaluation, and sales strategies, and to minimize the losses from illegality, dishonesty or wrong-doings.

대형할인 매장의 불법적인 분실과 유기를 통해 발생된 손실은 고회전과 저비용으로 운용되는 대형할인점의 수익에 막대한 영향을 마치며, 그 손실로 인하여 관련기업 및 소비자에게도 연쇄적인 손실을 가져오게 된다.
본 논문은 농축수산 부분의 고유한 위험으로부터 발생되는 문제에 대하여, 다양한 관점에서의 접근방법을 통해 문제해결의 대안을 연구하였다. 현재와 같은 매장관리자 및 판매사원의 움직이는 업무의 동선을 고려한 업무 프로세스의 개선, 새로운 장비의 추가 보다는 랜카드가 연결된 전자저울과 판매시점관리(POS) 단말기에서 중량을 체크할 수 있는 부분의 보완, 대형할인점 유통정보시스템의 데이터베이스 테이블의 추가 및 변경을 통한 세부분의 개선을 연구의 대안으로 제시하였다.
이를 통하여 대형할인점 육류매장의 정확한 판매 및 재고관리가 가능하고, 손실로 인한 원인과 상품의 수량, 금액의 상호 검증으로 현재보다 관리와 통제가 정착되어 잠재적인 위험을 낮출 수 있고, 불법 또는 실수로 인한 손실을 최소화 할 것이다.
