In this paper, firstly, Ｉ analyzed the possession situation of “Jeonggamrok(鄭鑑録)”, which were acquired by the governor general and the re-established Japanese at the time, based on the premise that the Jeonggamlok(鄭鑑録), published during the colonial period. In addition, I reviewed the process of the official publication of the “Jeonggamrok(鄭鑑録)”, which was collected and secretly handled in the 1920s, and the main editors. In particular, it clarified the life and personality of Yongjoo Kim and Byungjoo Hyun, and suggested that Yongjoo Kim might be the most similar to the form of “Jeonggamrok(鄭鑑録)” that most colonial power possesses and wants to reveal.

본고에서는 먼저 식민지시기 간행된 정감록이 1910년대 민간 재조일본인들의 조선 연구 및 문헌 수집을 배경으로 탄생되었다는 전제 하에 당시 총독부 및 재조일본인들이　확보하고 있었던 『정감록』및『정감록』류 문헌의 소장 상황을 파악해보았다. 또한 이를 통해 수집되어 비밀리에 다루어지던『정감록』들이 1920년대에 이르러 공식적으로 간행되는 과정과 그 주된 편자들을 검토해보았다. 특히, 김용주와 현병주의 생애와 성격을 분명히 하여, 종전의 인식과 달리 김용주본이 오히려 가장 식민지권력이 보유하고 또 공개하고자 했던『정감록』의 형태에 가장 유사할 수 있을 가능성을 시사했다.
