This thesis should start with the exercise of practical education of filial piety through prenatal music so that it fits our culture and characteristics. I checked “Taegyosingi,” our traditionalprenatal education book, where prenatal education is recognized as the beginning of an important and educational relationship. Our ancestors thought that the core of prenatal education is to straighten the human personality. In that book, it is said that 10 years’ education from teachers is inferior to 10 months’ education from mothers, and children’s lifelong personality is decided in the period of maternity. Therefore humans should be educated starting before birth.When humans are educated from pregnancy, the period of human formation, they can grow up rightly from their parents’ education on the basis of pregnancy’s right human formation. Namely, if bad habits begin to form prior to birth, education becomes worse as time goes by after birth. It is impossible for flowers to blossom if there are no roots in the tree, though we take pains to do so. Only when the tree has strong roots, and its branches grow up well, can we bear beautiful flowers and abundant fruits. If we know that we exist because of parents’ love and act accordingly, there will be no loss of filial piety. The practice of filial piety must start from the attitude towards life. Filial piety must start from the parents’ love of children to the love of family and neighbor and go to love of country and conservation of the environment. Therefore filial piety is the nature and sympathy of human respect and has to lead to happiness through love. Filial piety begins by parents giving birth to babies, but starting from before birth, parents must be aware of the education of children and pay attention to the improvement of their personality. In other words, from prenatal education, the first human education, filial piety must be practiced for right personality education. To conceive life is to set the stage and practice filial piety.

본 논문은 우리의 문화와 특성에 맞는 효인성 교육을 태교로부터 시작하여야 한다는데 그 목적을 둔다. 태교는 한 생명의 잉태를 매우 중대하고 인격적이며 교육적인 관계의 시작으로 인식하여 후세에게 널리 전하고자 하는 우리나라 전통태교전문서인 태교신기를 통하여 알아보았다. 우리 조상들은 태교의 핵심을 인간의 성품을 바르게 하는 데에 두고 있었다. 스승의 10년 동안 가르침이 어미의 열 달 가르침보다 못하다하며 자녀의 평생 성품은 태중에서 형성 된다 하였다. 그러므로 인간은 태어나기 전부터 훈련되어 나와야 한다는 것이다. 인간이 형성되는 그 시기부터 교육되어야 세상 밖으로 나와 바른 인간 형성의 기초가 되어 부모의 돌봄으로 성장해 갈 때 반듯하게 자랄 수 있는 것이다, 좋지 못한 습관과 버릇들이 어머니의 태중에서 시작되었다면 출생 후 성장하면서 더욱 힘든 교육이 되기 때문이다. 뿌리 없는 나무에 꽃을 피우겠다고 갖은 노력을 한들 꽃이 자라지는 못한다. 뿌리가 튼튼해야 가지가 잘 자라며 아름다운 꽃과 풍성한 열매가 맺을 수 있는 것이다. 인간의 뿌리인 부모의 사랑으로 내가 존재한다는 것을 알고 행동한다면 효가 상실되는 일이 없을 것이다. 효를 실천한다는 것은 우리의 삶의 태도에서 시작되어야 한다. 효란 부모가 나를 낳아줌으로 시작이 되지만 부모가 자녀를 낳기 이전부터 자녀에 대한 교육을 인식하고 바른 인성을 함양시키는데 귀 기울여야 한다. 즉, 인간의 최초 교육인 태교로부터 바른 성품교육으로 효가 이루어지게 해야 한다. 생명을 잉태해서 바로 양육한다는 것은 나라를 일으키는 일이며 효를 실천하는 일이다.
