To analyse the situation and characteristics of the translation education in Korean Language department in Chinese universities, this study conducted a descriptive statistics in 111 universities in China, where there are Korean department. The results:1) lectures on translation and interpretation are heavily weighted on credit and hours in Korean language eduction; 2) lectures and contents are being gradually in systematics; 3)the eduction shows a trend of segmentation and embodiment; 4) several level of text books are being developed; 5) the resources for the education are increasingly diversified; 6) national level of contests or projets on translation or interpret are being increased day by day. Through the research several problems were found as follow: 1) lack of qualified lecturers; 2) the students are still in low level of skills on translation due to their poor Korean and language background; 3) the education contents is still not ample enough; 4) lack of qualified evaluation system for translation education; 5) text books are not well suitable for the level and variacity of education; 6) lack of practice and internship for the students. On the result, there request following works to do: 1) for qualifying the translation education, the students must be heavily trained not only on Korean language but also they need to learn plentiful knowledge on Korean society and culture; 2) lecturers should not only come from Chinese teachers. There is a strong needs for cooperation between China and Korea on training lecturers; 3) there should be more researches conducted on the subject; 4) a standardized evaluation system must be established; 5) there needs data base accumulation on translation error cases and texts. These data is not only necessary for education itself, but also of great help for text books development and related research.

중국에서 실행되고 있는 번역 교육의 현황과 특징들을 연구하기 위해 중국내 111개 대학한국어과 번역 관련 교과목과 기존 한국어 번역 교재들에 대한 자료 수집과 통계 분석을 진행하였다. 그 결과 성과들로는 1)한국어 전공 교과목에서 통번역이 적당한 학점과 교육 시간 점유. 2)번역 교과목 개설 및 교육 내용의 체계성 구비. 3)번역 교육의 세분화․구체화 경향. 4) 여러 층위에 적용하는 교재의 증가. 5)번역 교육에 활용할 수 있는 자원의 증가 추세. 6)전국적 범위와 수준의 번역 경기대회 및 번역 관련 프로젝트의 증가 등이 있다. 현존하는 문제점으로는 1)번역 전공 교수 부족. 2)학습자들의 언어 수준․지식 등의 제한으로 번역 교육에 장애 조성. 3)한중-중한 통번역 교육 내용의 부실. 4)번역 교육내용과 번역수준 평가 기준 미비. 5)다양한 학습자들의 요구와 수준에 적합한 중한-한중 통번역 교재 부족. 6)학습자들의 번역 실천 및 현장 실습 기회 부족으로 나타났다. 이러한 현실로부터 추출한 과제로는 1)한국어 번역 교육에서 한국어 언어능력 및 한중 양국사회와 문화에 대한 폭넓은 지식을 갖춘 번역 인재 양성 중요시. 2)번역 전공 교수 양성에서 중국 내 자체 양성과 중한합작 양성 방안 모색. 3)번역 연구와 교재 개발의 적극 권장과추동. 4)번역 교육 내용과 평가 기준 마련. 5)번역 오류 분석과 모범 번역문 데이터 구축 등이있다. 이는 번역 교육뿐만 아니라 교재 편찬과 번역 교육 연구에 있어서도 아주 유용하며 중요한 자료가 될 수 있기 때문이다.
