초록

영어

Negotiations between Aragaya and Wa were carried out through the Jindong Bay or Masan Bay of the southern coast of the Korean Peninsula. Wa relics excavated from Aragaya are from the 4th or the 5th century. A lot of the 4th century Wa earthenware were excavated from the historic site of Hyeondong, and the early 5th century armor made in Japan was excavated from Haman Dohangri Tomb No. 13. In the late 5th century, sword imported from Wa was buried in Malisan Tomb No. 4. Compared to the large number of Aragaya relics from the 5th century excavated in the Japanese Islands, only a few Wa relics were found in Aragaya. Aragaya relics excavated from the Japanese Islands were either buried in ancient tombs, brought in person by Aragaya immigrants, or produced locally. A large amount of Aragaya relics was excavated around Kyushu in the 4th century. We can assume direct negotiating relations between the heads of Aragaya and Kyushu in the 4th century. From the late 4th century, they came to be excavated intensively in Osaka instead of Kyushu. From the late 4th century until the early 5th century, we can see either direct or indirect negotiations between the heads of Kinki and Aragaya. Aragaya relics are highly concentrated particularly in Nara of Japan. In the historic sites where Aragaya relics have been excavated, we find a lot of earthenware and steel products, implying a substantial influx of Aragaya craftsmen. The heads in Nara were accepting advanced handicraft techniques through negotiations with Aragaya. Aragaya relics found in Japanese Islands decrease in number from the late 5th century. The relationship between Korean Peninsula and Japanese Islands takes a multichannel form, resulting in the increase in the relics from Daegaya, Sogaya, Mahan, and Baekche.
