The purpose of this study is to identify the actual conditions of crime victims of the elderly in Korea. This study was conducted as a method of literature review through analysis of official statistical data and previous research data. Based on the results of the study, this study suggests that: 1) the introduction of the protection system for the elderly; 2) the efforts to increase the crime report of the elderly and recovery of the damage; and 3) the establishment of the security system. Finally, the limitations of this study were discussed along with the academic and policy contribution of this study.

이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 노인 범죄피해의 실태를 파악하고 노인 범죄피해에 대한 문제점을 분석하여 노인 범죄피해의 개선방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이 연구는 공식통계자료와 선행연구자료 분석을 통한 문헌연구의 방법으로 수행되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 이 연구에서는 노인 범죄피해의 개선방안으로 첫째, 노인을 위한 보호 제도의 도입, 둘째, 노인 범죄피해 신고의 증대와 피해회복을 위한 노력 강화, 셋째, 보안시스템의 구축을 제안하였다. 끝으로 이 연구의 학술적･정책적 의의와 함께 이 연구의 한계에 대해서 논의하였다.
