Globalization is not only a phenomenon of our own, but a natural phenomenon around the world. This multIcultural society is easily found in the changing trend of population composition. Due to the rapid progress of the multicultural society, the problem for human rights violations has been increasing, the need for multicultural human rights education has been stressed. Human rights education for migrants has been conducted on the basis of the National Human Rights Commission of Korea, but it has yet to be improved hatred and discrimination against immigrants. It is necessary to establish the problems of the implementation of human rights education for migrants in order that they result in fruitful outcomes. The task of implementing a multicultural human rights education in this thesis is as follows : First, human rights education based on fundamental principles of human dignity, equality, freedom, justice, and peace should be provided by the fundamental principles of basic principles of education of multicultural human rights. Second, it is necessary to practice implementing multicultural human rights education through unifying human rights education in multicultural education. Third, a variety of educational methods that help solve the actual issue of multicultural human rights should be implemented, and the separation and integration of education should be performed appropriately. Fourth, the education of multicultural human rights should be carried out throughout the entire lifetime. Fifth, it should be expanded the categories and subjects of multicultural human rights education, not only students but also marriage immigrants, immigrant workers, north korean refugees, refugees etc. Through the above tasks, it may lead to realization for common good.

세계화로 인해 다문화사회는 우리만이 아닌 전 세계적으로 자연스러운 현상이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 다문화사회의 변화근거는 인구구성의 변화 추이에서 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있다. 다문화사회의 급속한 진전에 따라 인권침해 문제도 증가하여 다문화인권교육의 필요성이 강조되어 왔다. 그동안 국가인권위원회를 중심으로 이주민에 대한 인권교육이 이루어져 왔지만 여전히 이주외국인에 대한 혐오와 차별은 개선되지 않고 있다. 이주민에 대한 인권교육의 시행의 문제점을 파악하고 성과 있는 결과를 가져올 수 있도록 이를 정립하고 점검할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서 제시된 다문화인권교육의 실천과제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화인권교육의 기본적 기초원리에 대한 교육을 통한 인간의 존엄성, 평등, 자유, 정의, 평화의 기초가 되는 교육적 철학에 바탕을 둔 인권교육이 이루어져야 한다. 둘째, 다문화교육에 인권교육을 통합하는 방식을 통한 다문화인권교육의 실천이 필요하다. 셋째, 실제 발생하는 다문화인권문제의 해결에 대한 도움이 되는 다양한 교육방법을 실시하되, 분리와 통합교육이 적절하게 이루어지도록 하여야 한다. 넷째, 다문화인권교육은 모두를 대상으로 전 생애에 걸쳐 이루어지도록 하여야 한다. 다섯째, 다문화인권교육의 내용 범주와 학생뿐만 아니라 결혼이주자, 이주노동자뿐만 아니라 북한이탈주민, 난민 등 관련 인권교육의 대상을 확대하여야 한다. 위와 같은 과제실천을 통하여 공동선 실현이 이루어질 수 있을 것이다.
