This study chose residents who are experiencing tourism development as the respondents, focused on community attachment, and analyzed the casual relationship between participation intention and support for tourism development. The study attempted to group the respondents by their perception levels of community attachment. By inserting demographic variables and perceptions of effects, characteristics in each group were generated. The survey was carried out in a rural development area, to Kyeongnam residents who are going through tourism development. The duration of the survey lasted from the middle of September to the end of December. In total, 300 questionnaires were distributed, and 270 were returned. By eliminating 18 unusable questionnaires, 252 were chosen for the final analysis. The study results indicated that two groups were generated based on community attachment. Significant differences were found between these two groups in their demographic characteristics, perception of effects, support for tourism development, and participation intention. In addition, attitudes towards tourism development varies based on the perception levels of community attachment from local residents.

본 연구는 관광개발 관련 지역주민들을 대상으로 하여 지역애착도에 초점을 맞춰지역애착도 지각 수준에 따른 참여의도 및 관광개발지지와의 영향관계를 분석하였다. 특히 지역애착도 지각 수준별로 군집화를 시도하고 인구통계적특성 변수, 영향지각 변수들을 투입, 군집별 특성을 도출하였다. 설문조사는 일반농산어촌개발사업지로 선정되어 현재 관광개발이 이루어지고 있는 경남지역의 주민들을 대상으로 하였으며 설문기간은 2017년 9월 중순부터 11월까지 약 2개월에 걸쳐 이루어졌다. 편의표본추출법을 이용하여 설문지 300부가 배포되었으며 그 중 270부가 회수되었으나 불성실한 설문지 18부를 제외한 252부를 최종 분석자료로 활용하였다. 분석결과, 지역애착도를기반으로 전부 2개의 군집이 추출되었으며 군집별 인구통계적 특성, 영향지각, 관광개발지지, 참여의도 등에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나, 지역주민의 지역애착도 인식 수준에 따라 관광개발에 대한 태도가 달라질 수 있음을 시사하였다.
