A Study on Simajaki Dosong's Naturalist Novels. This paper aims to analyze the naturalistic characteristics reflected in Simajaki Dosong's novels such as Hakai, SinSei, and Ie. In Dosong's works, two major characteristics are found: First, this papaer deals with status-confession and self discovery in Hakai, autobiographical nature and self-confession in SinSei, and feudalistic life and the pursuit of a new way of living in Ie. Second, Dosong's naturalism is found to include some romantic nature.
