This research is about HWAJEONGA of DONGHAE that was written by CHOI, CHAN-GUM. She was born in the DONGHAE in 1900's and was an ordinary noble woman of her time. She was not an official writter due to social constrains, sex discrimination, but was talented artist. She left many essays and letters with literary value. This work is describing her own experience HAWJEON-PLAYING, which was on Mt.CHI-BYOUNG, especailly focusing the mountain scenery and EAST-SEA and her feelings as time went by. Also she quoted Chinese Classical Works and expressed her experience mythically. That is the most important feature of this work. In the subject, enjoyment through HWAJEON-PLAYING comes from pleasance of self-sufficiency, which is formed in friendly bons between woman of her society.
