In this paper, we discuss about renewable energy networks in Asia, especially small-scale hydropower associationin Bandung, Indonesia. From 1980s, transfer technology program of small-scale hydropower technology moved into action from Germany and Switzerland to Indonesia. The result was built up the community and networks of hydropower; “AsosiasiHidro Bandung (=AHB)”. In this research, we trace the creation process of AHB and make the practical concept of social enterprise based on installing renewable energy, and then take a view of expansion of transfer technology to ASEAN based on strategic cooperation between Japan and Indonesia.
